Ravshanov Normakhmad

Doctor of Technical Sciences (2010), professor (2018). He graduated from Samarkand State University in 1977. He worked as a postgraduate student, junior researcher, and senior researcher at the Institute of Cybernetics within the “Cybernetics” Research and Production Association of the Academy of Sciences of Uzbekistan; as a leading researcher at the Institute of Mathematics and Information Technologies; and as head of a laboratory at the Research Institute for the Development of Digital Technologies and Artificial Intelligence. Since 2021, he has served as adviser to the institute director on scientific affairs and chair of the Scientific Council. N. Ravshanov’s scientific achievements concern the methodology of mathematical modeling and computational experiments for mass and heat transfer, separation of liquid and ionic mixtures, ecology, groundwater filtration and contamination, extraction of mineral resources, storage and drying of agricultural products, non-stationary filtration of liquids and gases in porous media, mathematical modeling of the spread of harmful impurities in the atmosphere, and development of software systems. He is the author of more than 500 scientific articles, more than 12 monographs, more than 10 educational and methodological manuals, and more than 30 software certificates. Under his supervision, 1 Doctor of Science, 20 PhD researchers, and 1 Candidate of Science were trained. In 2024, he was awarded the honorary title of professor by Universitas Muhammadiyah Sidoarjo in Indonesia.
