Researchers at the Electronics and Telecommunications Research Institute of South Korea have developed an artificial intelligence system that can independently detect speech disorders in people.
According to the journal “ETRI” (https://onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/10.4218/etrij.2023-0322), all that is needed to use the system is to input an audio recording of everyday conversations. The system can analyze speech disorders and suggest appropriate treatments.
The researchers say that during testing, this innovative system achieved a result of 87,3%.
