Google has announced the launch of its AI search engine in more than 100 countries. AI-generated summaries (AI Overviews) will be available to users in Canada, Australia, South Africa, Nigeria, Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan, Kyrgyzstan and many other countries.
According to The Verge, the new search engine supports English, Hindi, Japanese, Indonesian, Portuguese and Spanish. This will make the process of searching for information even faster.
At the same time, the team made links to sources cited in AI-generated information more prominent. This was done to make it easier for users to visit the original source for additional information, while also ensuring that websites do not lose traffic.
