Researchers from China and Brazil have created a robot with artificial intelligence called “CyberDog.” The robot can carry out search tasks in any environment, at any temperature, and on various uneven terrains.

According to the journal “Pest Management Science,” this robot is highly important in the fight against harmful insects. Initially, the research team used the robot to search for nests of dangerous red fire ants in large fields and recorded high efficiency.

For reference, red fire ants are among the most dangerous insects. They were first identified in the United States in the 1930s. They later became widespread in China, Japan, and Europe.
