Neural network now creates maps using Minecraft

Researchers at the California Institute of Technology have created a neural network capable of creating maps using Minecraft. According to the journal “Nature Machine Intelligence,” the research team developed a model capable of creating spatial maps using a predictive coding algorithm for neural networks (https://techxplore.com/news/2024-07-neural-network-minecraft.html).
