Engineers from China’s Advanced Aero-Engine Center and Beihang University have developed a drone that can fly using solar power.
The small drones, called “Ultra Light MAVs,” can fly for 10 minutes. The team is also continuing tests to extend the drones’ flight time to half an hour.
It is worth noting that drones of this type can perform various complex tasks. The research team is working to improve the drones’ endurance and increase their payload capacity.
