Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor Mirzayev Nomaz was born on September 22, 1950 in the Samarkand region. He has more than 45 years of experience in the field of informatization and information and communication technologies. Since July 2021, he has been working as a project manager at the Research Institute for the Development of Digital Technologies and Artificial Intelligence.
N. Mirzayev has worked in various positions, including as a postgraduate student, junior researcher, senior researcher at the Institute of Cybernetics of the Scientific and Production Association "Cybernetics" of the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Uzbekistan (later the Institute of Cybernetics under the Scientific and Technical Center of Modern Information Technologies), senior researcher at the Institute of Mathematics and Information Technologies of the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Uzbekistan, senior researcher, chief researcher at the Scientific and Innovative Center for Information and Communication Technologies under TUIT, and chief researcher at the Research Institute for the Development of Digital Technologies and Artificial Intelligence.
N. Mirzayev is one of the leading scientists who makes a significant contribution to the development of science. His scientific activity consists in the development and implementation of methods for synthesizing recognition operators in a large-dimensional feature space.
With the participation of N. Mirzayev, 4 applied and 2 fundamental projects were completed in 2011-2023. Currently, he is leading the project "Development of scientific foundations for classification processing of large data using recognition methods based on threshold functions". Their results have been implemented with high efficiency in various fields.
Also, Nomaz Mirzayev is a member of such prestigious international scientific societies as "Institution of Electrical and Electronic Engineers" (IEEE), "Biometrics Council; International Association of Engineers" (IAENG), "Society of Artificial Intelligence". In addition, N. Mirzayev participates as a member of the program committees of a number of scientific and technical conferences held in our republic and abroad.
He is also a permanent member of scientific councils and scientific seminars at TUIT, the Research Institute for the Development of Digital Technologies and Artificial Intelligence, and the National Research University "TIIAME". In 2022-2023, he also served as chairman of the scientific and technical council of the Ministry of Innovative Development of the Republic of Uzbekistan on "Informatization and ICT development".
N. Mirzayev conducts pedagogical activities at a number of higher educational institutions in Tashkent, making a significant contribution to the training of highly qualified specialists for our republic. In particular, N. Mirzayev is the author of more than 150 scientific articles, 2 monographs, more than 5 educational and methodological manuals, and more than 10 software certificates.
