The current season of the “Technovation Girls Uzbekistan 2025” competition has come to an end

On May 31, the closing event of Uzbekistan’s largest STEM program, the “Technovation Girls Uzbekistan 2025” competition, was held at the Hyatt Regency hotel in Tashkent. The program was organized by the Tech4Impact NGO in partnership with the Ministry of Digital Technologies, the Center for Digital Education Development, and Yandex Uzbekistan.

At this prestigious event, A. Kadirov, Director of the Research Institute for the Development of Digital Technologies and Artificial Intelligence, spoke about the wide range of opportunities being created for women in the IT sector. In particular, he highlighted the active participation of girls in implementing and learning about artificial intelligence technologies.

Mobile apps, technologies using artificial intelligence, assistive platforms for people with visual or hearing impairments, and solutions addressing pressing areas such as ecology, safety, education, and gender equality—all were developed by young technology leaders.

During the event, partnerships were also strengthened with Technovation coordinators and mentors visiting from Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, and Tajikistan. In addition, at the end of the competition, 15 teams received awards from partner organizations in special categories.

The Ministry of Digital Technologies selected 3 projects and presented each team member with a certificate granting a license to take paid courses on the Coursera platform worth 400 US dollars. They include:

- NovaCore (Bullify) — a project in artificial intelligence, healthcare, and gender equality — Tashkent city.

- CodiQueens (GrantFinder) — education and culture — Namangan region.

- AlphaGals (Job Hub) — teams from Khorezm region working to address unemployment and poverty.

“Technovation Girls” is an opportunity to boldly pursue social change through technology!
