Today, a memorandum of cooperation was signed between the Research Institute for the Development of Digital Technologies and Artificial Intelligence under the Ministry of Digital Technologies and the Committee on Innovation Development and Information Technology Issues of the Legislative Chamber of the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
The event was attended by I. Abdullayev, Chair of the Committee on Innovation Development and Information Technology Issues of the Legislative Chamber of the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan, and committee members; O. Umarov, First Deputy Minister of Digital Technologies; A. Kadirov, Director of the Institute; and the Institute’s team.
📝 The cooperation includes:
➡️ researching scientific and practical problems in the fields of innovation development and information technology, particularly artificial intelligence, and conducting scientific research;
➡️ studying foreign experience in artificial intelligence and jointly developing proposals to improve legislation,
➡️ developing forms of parliamentary oversight in the fields of digital technologies and artificial intelligence and assisting in the exercise of representative functions;
➡️ carrying out important tasks such as developing practical proposals to improve our country’s position in international rankings and indices in artificial intelligence and digitalization.
