Today, Jung Hye-won, Director of the Language Research Department at the National Institute of Korean Language, and her team visited the Research Institute for the Development of Digital Technologies and Artificial Intelligence.
First, the representatives learned in detail about the current status of the “Korean-Uzbek Parallel Corpus” project, as well as joint projects being carried out with partner countries.
The project’s main goals are also to address issues in Korean and Uzbek and to train promising translators to work between the two languages in the future.
At the end of the meeting, it was agreed that negotiations would continue on the practical development of the project and its implementation, with the aim of developing bilateral cooperation.
